Claire Cowie's work titled "Eagle Spoke Woe" from her series Weeping and Gnashing of Teeth has been acquired by the Henry Art Gallery.

 

 

Work by Claire Cowie, Margot Quan Knight, Mary Ann Peteres and Maki Tamura will be included in the exhibition titled "show of hands: Northwest Artists 1890 to 2010" at the Whatcom Museum of Art, in Bellingham, WA from April 23 to August 8, 2010.

  Stephanie Syjucowas awarded an Artadia New York Residency Award for 2010. She is alos the recipient of a 2010 Joan Mitchell Foundation Grant.
 

Steve Davis and Adam Sorenson's work will be included in a traveling exhibition titled "Northwest Artists/Northwest Environment." The show will open at the Western Washington University in April 2010. It will travel to Willamette University in Salem, OR, Boise Art Museum and the Nevada Museum of Art in Reno. A color catalogue will accompany the exhibition

 

Eric Elliott’s exhibition at the gallery last September has been reviewed in the November issue of Art in America.

 

Rashid Johnson’s work has been included in “30 Americans” at The Rubell Collection in Miami Florida.  A color catalogue accompanies the exhibition.
